For this stand, we deliberately chose a style that was becoming increasingly popular in interior design at the time: rounded shapes, soft lines, and rich, dark materials. Interior trends often make their way into exhibition stand design somewhat later. We wanted to stay ahead of the curve and bring this trend to the exhibition floor at an early stage.

The rounded shapes became the defining element of the design. Not only in the form of curved corners, but also through a variety of shapes, applications, and finishes. From large curved structures and presentation walls to furniture and smaller details. By incorporating curves in different ways, we created a dynamic and playful environment with depth and variation.

The combination of these distinctive shapes with dark materials and Nedap’s recognisable pastel colour palette created a striking contrast. The soft, rounded lines made the stand feel approachable and inviting, while the dark materials added a premium and powerful character.
